I, too, am interested in selling my points. Petchey Leisure has increased the contact/maintenance fees to an unbelievable level. I have not used the points for more than 3 years now (since my husband died of cancer). I was told I could just hand them back - they cost us in excess of £16,000.

I have received a Termination Note saying that if I fail to pay the outstanding maintenace fees by 23.7.2010 I will no longer be a member.

What can I do about it??
Thanks in advance for any help.

Visited [edit] in November and they told me my time share I bought 13 years ago is worthless!!!! In fact I have paid for [edit] take it off my hands, the said time share are still reluctant to acknowledge the transfer of ownership and continue sending me correspondence. [edit] keep telling me not to worry this is a common tactic.
Anyone else having the same issues???

Hello,
I have tried to send the form on the website but without success.
Could you tell me if the services of ITRA extend to helping with leaseback?
I bought a leaseback property in France some years ago but the management company has stopped paying the rent ( last payment was for the final quarter of 2009 ) yet the lease agreement does not expire until 2013.
I realise that your main area is timeshare but thought I would ask.
If you do not deal with leaseback ( particularly French ) would you know of any other companies like yourself that could help?
Thanks in advance,
Bernard McKenna

Our experience with ITRA has been very good.  We had had to write off our Diamond Resorts points because we could not afford the vastly increased "management" fees [83.5% increase in 5 years] and could not sell them either.  We await the results of the legal action with baited breath...

visited ITRA - filled in the pre-qualification survey.  Was glad that ITRA are doing something to redress the over charge in maintenance fees and the fact that we were sold the timeshare (which we love) as an asset.

My experience with itra is sheer disappointment   - we attended stafford a long, long time ago, filled in the forms as requested and sent off all details as advised........ result? None so far - not a word - not an email - we hoped and prayed for help, as our timeshare was taken from us - not for lack of payments, oh no, simply that they sold the complete property from under all their owners, yes, every one of them - we have not received one penny from anyone, even though we purchased and paid in full in 1993, and all maintenance  charges were all up to date - oh, they did offer us a different apartment, but we were not allowed to go and see it before making that years maintenence payment and since that time, those timeshares have also been sold............. we are told that it is to pay off debts accumalted by the crook, John Palmer, so if anymore of you are out ther, we would love to hear from you.
Thankyou for taking the time to red this.

Dear One and All,

Regarding your experience in Stafford.

We apologise for any lack of communcation.  We send out Updates 1 & 2 within 7 days of each other to all persons who have attended a consulation and completed a Pre-Qualification Survey.

There have been instances where some people do not have an email address.  While we can understand their dilemma, we do not have the resources to contact each person via phone.  With one click of the button, we can send emails to everyone, instantly.

Now, if you have not received any news from ITRA, there might be an error in the email address we have on file and in our CRM.

Please contact us at:  Administration1@ITRA.net

We will look into the situation, immediately.

hi,  we attended a meeting at Stafford. we were treated well on arrival although i was very sceptical of the situation after having been conned on other ocasions by unscupules sales people from various holiday firms. After a while confidence and trust is lost. we are hoping now through itra that we may get some compensation for all the money we have been conned out of. a word of warning be very wary of any time share sales person or time share resale companies. it just ends up with you being out of pocket.
